I’ve always loved arts and crafts. Coming from an inventive and innovative family, my siblings and I were introduced to all sorts of artistic mediums. It is a gift I am so thankful for.
Working in media and entertainment leaves plenty of time for other artistic ventures like painting, stained glass and sewing.
I enjoy working with people to enhance their living space. I am for hire to do your decorative painting and am happy help with the creative process and colors. I enjoy sponging, stenciling, ragging, geometrics, old world texture, custom designs, kids’ favorites, murals and more. I am always respectful and conscientious of you and your property and work in a professional and ethical manner. I am low impact and always clean up after a days work. I prefer to use Green products wherever possible to ensure a healthy home and a healthy planet.
My love for handcrafts and color brought me to stained glass too. I was always curious about it and with the generosity of the folks down at Vijon Studios in Old Saybrook, I’ve learned so much. I love to create original designs, but sometimes use free patterns too. If you have an idea you would like to see come alive in stained glass, please be in touch! When I was twelve, I started acting and dancing. There came a need for costumes so I needed to learn how to sew! As a teenager, I loved having original one of a kind pieces and made a lot of my own clothes throughout highschool. I often had dreams of having my own boutique. With Smashing Darling and Etsy I have two!
My love for the environment recently inspired me to create my reusable fabric giftwraps available for purchase on my online stores (see examples below).
